I’m hosting a vanilla survival world with an ocean spawn. It’s mostly made up of a small, close group of long-time friends, and we’re looking to welcome some new players who enjoy the classic vanilla Minecraft experience.
• Spawn is an ocean biome, so getting started requires a bit of adventure. Swim or boat out to find land and begin your journey.
• We use a few quality-of-life datapacks to add functionality like homes (up to 3 per player) and a spawn command. There are no additional plugins, mods, or data packs to modify the gameplay or terrain - all other features (added by a chat bot) are superfluous and cosmetic.
• Player and mob heads can drop occasionally from combat
• The world was first generated in 2011, so you’ll encounter a mix of ancient terrain and plenty of ruins. Newer terrain (post-2014) really does exist, but it may take some exploration to find.
There are only two rules:
• Treat others with respect.
• Don’t intentionally crash the server.
The environment is relaxed and unstructured. Nearly anything is allowed, including griefing and hacked clients.
Most players are in their mid-twenties or older, primarily from the U.S., with some Russian and Polish speakers as well.
