Hey everyone, Im back once again in hopes of recruiting new people to join my multiplayer survival server, Minecraft Cubed! It is a public server running on 1.14.4, on a brand new world, which was just reset on July 22nd.
Minecraft Cubed
Minecraft Cubed is something I have worked on for the past few years, and generally, you can expect traditional, multiplayer survival gameplay. To keep things fresh, the server operates in seasons, where every 3-6 months the world is reset, and a new world is loaded for a new adventure.
To make things more fun, I always create things such as Events and Competitions for people to look forward to. An example of this would be a week-long competition where whoever collects the most cocoa beans wins a special prize. Things like that are pretty common on the server!
Each season typically has a theme as well, and this time there is emphasis on a high difficulty, which brings the Death Moon. Each night, there is a 1 in 9 chance that the Death Moon will rise, and if this happens, you will recieve a multitude of negative effects, including poison, which last all through the night. Always be prepared for a Death Moon!
High Difficulty
The Death Moon on its poses a challenge, but things get even harder! You will quickly find that it is impossible to sleep through the night phantoms dont spawn though, meaning there is no way to escape the Death Moon. Additionally, along with a simple GriefPrevention plugin, there is also a plugin which spawns Infernal Monsters, which essentially operate as mini-bosses, which have admirable drops but pose as great challenges to the unprepared. Thankfully, keep inventory will be enabled throughout this season, but if you die, you will be unable to respawn for twenty minutes. And of course, the difficulty is set to hard!
